Just like Fatso Jetson, Ten East & Yawning Man this is quite a rare & underrated band in the American desert scene. Orquesta del Desierto goes a little further & mixes different styles in a unique listening experience. From blues to psychedelic & latin vibes, a more alternative take on the desert tunes we all know. The band dissolved in 2006 as members moved on to pursue other projects.
The strong, mellow vocals of Pete Stahl (Goatsnake, Wool) & the wet, psychedelic guitar magic of Mario Lalli (Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man) are two amongs many reasons you should give this great band a try.
