Last year I did a track review on 'Blitzkrieg Lady', I was impressed by the destroying mix of energetic stoner/sludge that is Oruga, a fresh band from France. Think of it as Eyehategod meets Black Tusk & the more recent Demonic Death Judge. Oruga returns in 2011 with their first EP.
Overall this is a more slowed down & focused attempt. Blitzkrieg lady was a hard, fun track. But I think this EP offers alot more consistency towards the genre, it's not too groundbreaking but still quite ambitious in it's loud & obscure presentation. A good listen, definitely worth checking out!
